What is Housing Hand?
Housing Hand is a guarantor service that covers the full amount of rent as well as any damages, dilapidations and professional eviction costs, if any, incurred during a tenancy. Housing Hand will act as a guarantor for a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 12 months, after this the student must renew the Housing Hand service once their guarantee has expired after the 12 month period.
How much does it cost?
For students from the University of Hertfordshire (applying through the PAL scheme), the fee is 5.5% of annual rent on a monthly subscription or 5% of annual rent with a full upfront payment, subject to a minimum fee of £295.00.
